You have shells for decoration and you have scales to be used for example in the kitchen. That's why you do not find a rubric scale under home accessories and a scaling section under the heading cuisine.
Scales used as a platform
Some dishes, such as the flat scales of Madam Stoltz, you can use in different ways. The largest variant you lay on an ottoman and can serve as a tabletop. But also as a tray you can use your scale. Often the scale is put on the table and it acts as a platform for decoration as candles, picture frames and candlesticks.
